It seems important to the market that users be able to continue to access current SNS for free, or they are likely to simply leave the site. However, many companies are using SNS for advertising purposes.

Companies are accustomed to paying for advertising and are likely to continue to use Facebook, Twitter, etc., even if a "corporate account" comes with a price tag. Likewise, any third party app that makes money with advertising could be required to pay a flat fee to the SNS, or a percentage of profits.

LinkedIn has achieved success based on increased unemployment in recent years, but unemployment and underemployment is not limited to the white-collar worker.

There is room in the market for "professional sites" for those who are not business professionals, such as contractors, baby sitters, caregivers, electricians, roofers, gardeners, etc.
